Supports and Services in the Experience of Aging
Main Discussion Board Member List Web Resources

Description: With the extended life expectancy and growing numbers of persons aging with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the service system needs to better address the age-related needs of this population. Key issues include health disparities and development of secondary conditions, health promotion, support for family caregiving, residential supports, and assistive technology and environmental interventions to support community participation and "aging in place."
